2011 Woodstock Folk Festival

Sunday, July 17th, 2011, Woodstock Square, 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Stage Left Café Open Mike Stage

Host: Mark Lyons
Sound: Andy Andrick

The Open Mike Stage will be held at the air-conditioned Stage Left Café, next to the Woodstock Opera House on the Square. This part of the Festival gives singers and musicians an opportunity to perform in a more intimate area. Performers wanting to try their hand at the Open Mike should bring their instruments and singing voices.

Sign-up will be held the day of the Festival beginning promptly at 12:35 p.m. at Stage Left Café. Performers should plan to do 10 minutes or two songs, whichever is less. The stage will be open to those who sign up except for the timeslots that have been reserved for other festival activities.

Mark Lyons is coordinating the stage which gives established performers another place to perform, and aspiring performers an opportunity to build audiences. Andy Andrick is working on the soundboard which will give every performer the best sound possible.
