“Featuring Feet” Foot Percussion (2:15 p.m. at the Open Mike Stage) – presented by Colin O'Brien.

John Hartford's dancing foot percussion was both musically engaging and a highly entertaining part of his solo concerts. In this workshop Colin O'Brien will present the fundamentals of John's basic “Home” step one at a time. From there it's not a big leap (or step) to the Waltz step Hartford also used. This dancing connects the pathway between one's mind, heart, and feet. Good for the musician and good for everyone else! Hard shoes are preferred, but please; no tap shoes.
