The 23rd annual Woodstock Folk Festival will take place Sunday, July 20th, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. on the historic Woodstock Square in Woodstock, Illinois. The Festival will feature a Main Stage, Open Mike Stage including a Featured Performer, Workshop, Children’s Area, and presentation of the 2008 Woodstock Folk Festival Lifetime Achievement Award. The Final 2008 Festival Program
With a diverse musical line-up and an array of activities for people of all ages, this year's Festival will offer something for everyone. Main stage performers will include Lou & Peter Berryman, Devil in a Woodpile, Martine Locke, Twilight Hotel, Dennis Warner, and Randall Williams. Jim Green a.k.a. The Wandering Endorphin will be featured as a special guest on the Open Mike Stage. Michael J. Taylor, Director of the Tam Tam Mandingue-Chicago School of Percussion, will offer a Percussion Workshop. The Children’s Area will feature performances by Anna Stange and Dennis Warner and hands-on activities. During the Festival, the Board of Directors will present the Seventh Annual Woodstock Folk Festival Lifetime Achievement Award to Mark Dvorak. While most of the Festival takes place outdoors on Woodstock Square, the Open Mike Stage will be at the air-conditioned Stage Left Café, adjacent to the Woodstock Opera House on the Square.

Donations Appreciated
Entrance to the Woodstock Folk Festival is by donation. The suggested donations are:
- $15/individual
- $25/family
- $10/seniors and students
Since the festival is held in a publicly accessible location, our audience pays on the honor system. Please be conscious of this and make sure you find out where the donation is being collected as soon as possible after arriving. Thank you.
